We are looking for volunteers for Project Connect this year and would be so grateful if you could help us make this event successful. Project Connect is a complimentary one-day event contributing to a larger movement in Lethbridge and across the province to help end homelessness. It involves the coordinated efforts of the community, service providers, government agencies and volunteers. It is designed to provide a one-stop opportunity to connect people to the services that they require to improve their life situation. Also if there is anyone that you know of that might be interested in volunteering feel free to share this message with them. Project Connect is a great experience for anyone looking to volunteer in the community
Project Connect is looking for volunteers that can greet people, man the many stations, help with set-up and take down, and provide a caring and positive attitude toward the individuals accessing services.
A list of the different stations is attached, as well as can be found on the online registry (link below), to give you a chance to find a role that will give you the most enjoyment out of volunteering for this event.
